Our clinic
OakTree Medical Clinic opened in 2026 with a simple goal: a family practice where patients can build a lasting relationship with their doctor. We are a small, independent clinic on Kingsway in Burnaby, and Dr. Saeed Ghasri is welcoming new patients.
The name reflects how we think about care. Good family medicine grows over time, one visit and one year at a time, and it works best when your doctor knows your history and your family.
How we work
We offer in-person and virtual appointments, same-day visits by appointment, skin procedures, and the reports and forms that come with driving, work and insurance.
Our team will grow as the clinic does. New colleagues will be introduced here as they join.
Our team
Dr. Saeed Ghasri, MD, CCFP
Family Physician
Dr. Saeed Ghasri is an experienced and compassionate Family Physician who believes in providing comprehensive, patient-centred care and building lasting relationships with patients and families.
He completed his Family Medicine training in England in 2014 and obtained his MRCGP (UK). He then worked as a fully qualified GP in the NHS for 10 years, gaining broad experience in the assessment and management of acute and chronic conditions in both adults and children.
Dr. Ghasri moved to British Columbia with his family in 2024 and has since been practising as a fully registered, independent Family Physician in BC. In addition to English, he is fluent in Kurdish and Farsi (فارسی).
Outside of medicine
Outside of work, Dr. Ghasri enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, especially hiking, kayaking and camping. He also enjoys walking their family dog, Chia, who travelled all the way from England with the family and is now happily settled in Canada.
